Please Hide Your Email From Public in Your Profile

Hi Folks.

Some users on this forum have opted to reveal their email address in their forum profile.

But posting your email address anywhere publicly on the Internet leaves you vulnerable to spam.

I advise everyone to hide their email address from public in your profile.

To change the setting, click the profile button in the row above. Then click Account settings on the left hand side.

And select hide email address.

That should prevent you from receiving spam. Remember, spammers forge emails to appear to be from legitimate websites. You can tell they're forged by revealing the header.

If you post your email address publicly on this forum, you may receive forged spam that appears to be somewhat vaguely associated with this forum. It's not. And it's obviously not. But some folks just don't get it.

So please, hide your email address or invest in some good spam protection.
